BLAZER, PINS, PINS Y MAS PINS

Para los que el programa de rotary es nuevo, o no sepan... es una tradición que cada estudiante que va de intercambio tenga un Blazer, en algunas partes del mundo son de diferentes colores como... Finlandia-azul celeste, Canadá-rojo, Australia- verde, etc,  pero en general , incluido México el Blazer es azul marino.
Tambien deves llevar muchos Pins que representen a tu pais, no deben ser necesariamente pins, sino puede ser cualquier cosa caracteristica de tu pais, por ejemplo yo que vivo en México busque sombreritos , corcholatas de cerveza corona, mariposas monarca, banderitas, cartas de loteria etc...les puse un segurito y ya esta.  Asi entre todos los intercambistas de otros paises que conozcas puedes intercambiar pins , y ponerlos en el blazer, asi que al final de tu intercambio tu blazer termina lleno de pequeños objetos de diferentes paises... tambien puedes colgarle a tu blazer todo lo que se te ocurra que te recuerde a tu intercambio, y que sea posible ponerlo en un saco jajajajaja,  para que se den una idea, espero algun dia poder llenarlo ...

HOST FAMILY♥

Ahora toca el turno a mis familias anfitrionas♥
Yo ya sabia que iba a vivir en Glostrup, a 20 min de Copenhagen (capital de dinamarca) pero no sabia nada de mis familias hasta que hace un mes aproximadamente en cuanto me desperté para ir a la escuela a las 5 a.m, cheque mi facebook y me encontré con una solicitud de amistad de alguien que obviamente no era mexicana por el nombre y el apellido,acompañado por un inbox, sabia lo que significaba.... mi familia anfitrionaaaaa♥ y asi era, leí el inbox que decía...

"Hello you are probably think who is she... But I can tell you I'm from Denmark and chance are big that I'm going to be you host sister... So ask me anything you want to...
And I hope you are happy  
Ps I'm on exchange in Australia right now."

 donde se presentaba la que sera mi hermana de mi tercera familia en dinamarca, se llama Anemone y tiene 17 años, es muy buena onda, y me tiene mucha paciencia porque me contesta todas mis dudas jajaja, estoy muy emocionada por conocerla(: y me emociona mucho tener una hermana de mi edad , nopuedo esperar mas.

Y ahora hace como una semana , igual al despertar encontre un email de mi primera familia, en donde tendré dos hermanos , Emma tambien de 17 años , y Anton de 13 años , no puedo esperar estoy muy emocionada, y mas porque ellos me dijeron que viven en un bosque llamado Vestskoven♥ 

No puedo creer que en menos de 2 meses estaré en el avión♥

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE♥

El programa de intercambio de Rotary  para quienes nunca han escuchado de el, consiste en que te conviertes en un embajador de tu pais, en otra parte del mundo(en mi caso Dinamarca), durante 9-10 meses aproximadamente, durante los cuales viviras con 3 familias diferentes en tu país anfitrión (cada 3 meses cambias de familia), asistirás a la escuela , pasaras las festividades ,buscaras aprender el idioma, y todo como si fueras un habitante mas de ese pais (:  Cuando me refiero a el distrito, es porque cada pais en el que existe rotary esta dividido por Distritos, es decir como por zonas , y en cada distrito hay varios clubs. En mi caso...

HOSTDISTRICT♥ y muchas reglas ):

Lamento no escribir tan seguido, es solo que eh estado muy ocupada con lo del intercambio y con la escuela...pero POR FIN hace un mes maso menos recibí información acerca de mi Chairman en Dinamarca, en donde me daba la bienvenida y me pasaba el link en donde puedo iniciar con mis clases de Danes online (que por cierto esta un poco complicado pero luego les hablo del idioma) y también me decia cuales son TODAS las reglas del distrito y digo todas en mayúscula porque son muchísimas, están en ingles y se las dejo aquí para que las vean,

General Rules for Inbounds in district 1470 – summer 2013

Welcome to your Rotary Host District 1470. You are going to spend a year with us and we would therefore like to point out our General Rules that will apply for you during your exchange year.

When you and your parents have read and agreed with our rules, please sign them and return it by mail to Ms. Lene Knudtzon who is responsible for you during your year in Denmark.

Arrival & Departure in Denmark for summer 2013.
We will expect you to arrive in Denmark during the weekend 10th – 11th August 2013.
Your return flight must be no later than the 30st June 2014.

Pocket/spending money
During your stay in Denmark, your Rotary Club will provide you with the amount equivalent to USD 100 monthly. As the amount will not be sufficient to meet your requirements, you should bring USD 100 - 200 or more for your monthly spending.

NO Visits by Family or Friends during your Exchange Year.
The rules and regulations of the program, state that visits by family or friends are NOT allowed during your year as an exchange student. The reason being, that this kind of visit may have a distracting effect on your life, as you will be fully occupied with your Danish family and school friends.

Emergency Fund
You must bring an Emergency Fund of DKK 2000 to Denmark (400$), which will be collected from you by your Danish Club Counselor shortly after arrival and placed in a bank account controlled by your Counselor. If any money has to be drawn from this account during the year, it must be topped-up by your parents. Whatever money is left will be returned to you by the end of the year. Please note that some clubs and club counselors do not ask for emergency funds – please contact your Danish club counselor before you arrive in Denmark and ask!!!!!!


Transport
Your Rotary Club will pay for your transport to and from school (if public transport is needed) and to and from your Danish lessons (if public transport is needed).


Face book
We have created an FB Group, where you need to be a member. If you do not have a FB account you must to create one.
Your Face book will be checked every week by Rotary. Please be very careful of any comments and pictures that you post in your site.
You must add as friend your Danish District Chair (Thomas Salil Knudsen), Vice District Chair (Lene Knudtzon), Assistant District Chair (Jette Rasmussen) and District Protection Officer (Jakob Volther)


School
Studies must be taken seriously and you are obliged to learn the Danish language. You have already received an online language program which you should complete before you arrive in Denmark.
You are expected to take part in all school activities and absence is not allowed, unless by special permission by your school and Rotary.
Every month you will be asked to present your monthly school attendance report to your Club Counselor for signature. The schools allow no more than 10% absences!!
If the school finds you unsuitable for further education based on your personal lack of interest or too many absences - this will automatically lead to an early return. No school = No Visa!!!


Smoking
Smoking is banned at all public places in Denmark, such as cafés, restaurants, public buildings (including schools of course) and public transport.
If you have stated that you do not smoke, you will be expected to live by that statement while you are here. Your host families will assume you do not smoke, and will not allow you to do so.


4 D
The four D’s apply in our District. No Drinking, No Drug, No Driving & No Dating


No drinking – one of the 4 D’s (see above for the Four D’s)
Rotary cannot permit drinking and will not accept responsibility for it. We recognize however that, some host families do permit their student to enjoy a drink in their company.

False ID card
It is strictly forbidden to produce false ID card with the purpose of identifying you as a person above the ages of 18. Such an act will be regarded as a criminal offence and can lead to an early return.


Curfew on weekdays during school term
Students must be home by 11.00 pm during the week. An extension until 1 am can be permitted on Friday and Saturday nights but ONLY with the host family's permission. If your host families ask you to be home before the mentioned hours, you will have to accept that.
If in the company of your host family or a Rotary member, further extension of curfews can be permitted.


Sleepovers
Spending the night as a guest in someone else's home can only be permitted with the permission of the host family and the head of the other household. Sleepovers with no adults at home are not permitted.


Piercing and tattoos
During your stay in Denmark, you are NOT allowed to have any kind of piercing or any kind of tattoos.


Roskilde Festival
It is a big music festival, which is takes place every year. Our district does NOT permit you to participate in this event.



Travel abroad:
Travelling abroad (outside Denmark) always requires special permission. Do not expect, that you can travel around and visit friends & families, both in and outside Denmark. We cannot allow you to be absent from school.

Travel with your school:
This requires written permission from your host family and Club Counselor and your parents back home. The information they require must include details of where you are going and where you will be staying.

Travel abroad with your host family and/or a member of your Rotary Club:
This is permitted, providing it is not in your school time. In exceptional cases, it may be necessary to miss a day or two of school due to travel arrangements. In such cases, you must obtain written permission from your school principal and your Club Counselor in advance, informing them of when and where you are going, with whom, and for how long.

Travel abroad alone, with friends or with other exchange students:
Not permitted under any circumstances for safety and insurance reasons.

Euro Bus Tour:
You can explore a very large part of Europe on the EURO BUS TOUR provided for all exchange students. This tour does not require permission and is conducted under safe, secure conditions.
Please note that this tour must be paid for by your parents in advance. The cost is approx. DKK 10.000. In addition, you must have a minimum of DKK 2000 pocket money.

Repeated or gross abuse of Rotary rules:
Repeated failure to follow all Rotary rules will result in a written warning. In the event of a written warning, a copy will be sent to your parents, your sponsor Rotary Club, and your District Chair. Repeated failure to follow the Rotary rules after receipt of a written warning, will lead to an immediate early return.

Breaking the law of the country will result in immediate return to your own country. Any contact with the Danish police due to a criminal offence (shoplifting, vandalism, underage drinking or driving, drunkenness, noisy behavior, drugs, false ID card etc.) will automatically lead to early return and will be reported to the police in your home country.
